Environmental Project Manager
AMEC is expanding its environmental services throughout the Mid-South and is seeking an Environmental Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience to effectively develop project work and manage, implement and oversee site assessments, remediation and other related environmental projects in support of Federal DoD clientele. This exciting opportunity offers a growth position in a team-oriented environment for an individual with an established track record as a Seller/Doer. Candidate should have a successful track record executing and managing environmental projects in the Mid-South, primarily in OK, TX, AR. Local projects include environmental planning, environmental assessments and studies, environmental remediation, environmental services. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work on projects with variable complexity with the desire and ability to build a strong support team. Candidate should have experience working with commercial and industrial clients and municipal and state governments. Preference will be given to candidates with recent USACE, Army, and/or Air Force experience and established client relationships within these DoD entities. Experience with Performance-Based Remediation projects and/or Military Munitions Response Program is strongly desired.
Accountabilities:
· Work with and mentor junior and mid-level staff on environmental projects · Manage environmental projects including MMRP or ERP feasibility studies, site characterization, remedial designs, and preparation of reports and other related documentation. · Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates. · Manage project budgets, schedules and contracts. · Manage field work for site characterization and site remediation, including oversight of subcontractors, and sampling of soil and ground water in accordance with state and Federal regulations and protocols. · Perform, analyze and report on specific environmental project tasks under general supervision and research and recommend solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles. · Liaise with clients and project teams · Some daytime and overnight travel is expected (15% of the time). · Work effectively with team members as well as independently. · Requires willingness to occasionally work outdoors collecting environmental information.
Knowledge
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Engineer – Environmental or Civil, PE preferable · 10 years relevant experience with increasing levels of project complexity and management responsibility; · Track record of performance in a seller-doer culture (business development/client management). · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment. · Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). · Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills. · Ability to apply analytical or scientific thinking to define and solve problems. · Proficient in the technical development of proposals in response to bids/requests for proposals · Experience with various remediation technologies · Proficiency in MS Office application software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Senior Aerospace Engineer
SAIC is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to provide senior Engineering modification support for the B-1 Bomber program to accomplish workload that is being transferred from Wright Paterson AFB, OH. The working location for this position is at Tinker AFB, OK with occasional travel (30%). Standard work week applies, M-F, 0730-1630 hrs.
Responsibilities:
· Provide Engineering Support for B-1 Bomber program. · Provide knowledge and experience in established and disciplined engineering policies and processes to competently support the development, procurement, sustainment and modification of aircraft systems, sub-systems, components, and equipment. · Conduct analysis of engineering data to verify/validate that full data is available to support acquisition. · Assist in translating DoD and AF user requirements into aircraft system-level requirements which shall be used to design, develop, fabricate, test, evaluate, produce, install and operationally verify new systems, subsystems, and equipment. · Perform technical and mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological and trade-off study assessments of proposed designs and modifications and provide recommendations. · Assist in reviewing the overall system design baseline (architecture and interoperability) requirements. · Assist with drafting Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's), preparing TCTOs in accordance with MIL-PRF-38804C, Time Compliance Technical Orders and supply TCTO data in accordance with DI-ALSS-81531,Time Compliance Technical Order Supply Data, and updating engineering drawing in accordance with DI-DRPR-80651, Engineering Drawings to support inspections and configuration changes. · Coordinate draft ECP's and TCTO's with various DoD representatives, incorporate revisions and staff for OC-ALC/GKBMA approval as requested by the QAP/COTR. · Review Performance Specification Documents (PSD) IAW DI-SDMP-81465A, Performance Specification Documents and review vendor provided packages which could include proposals and deliverables. · Accomplish technical reviews of and provide comments on various specifications and technical/procedural Statements of Work (SOWs), · Support and conduct technical evaluations/assessments of the production, installation, performance and acceptability of aircraft system, component and equipment modifications and assists with documentation of technical reports. · Conduct assessments of system and equipment life-cycle costs, maintainability, supportability, reliability and technical and programmatic risks. · Support and conduct engineering analyses on systems and equipment for purpose of evaluating and verifying system and equipment functionality, operability, performance and reliability. · Provide on-site production and installation support for modification programs and make improvement recommendations.
Required Skills/Experience:
· Minimum 12 years experience in aerospace program management with 4 years of supervisory experience. · Certification in Government Level II or equivalent Aerospace educational experience in Engineering. · Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent and 10 years experience in engineering. · Experience may be offset by education level. · Possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; and analytical and creative problem solving skills. · Able to work with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. · Familiar with engineering data systems used by the USAF such as JEDMICS and DLA 339 / AF IES system · Possess the drive and motivation to achieve results and customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills/Experience:
· Production, fielding and testing of aerospace systems. · Aerospace systems radar experience. · Working knowledge of ABSS and CCARS systems. · Knowledge of DoD weapon system sustainment policies/procedures with emphasis on bomber aircraft. · Aerospace radar systems / program experience
